Renée McAlpinDirector, EduQuality
Renée McAlpin is the EduQuality Director at Opportunity International EduFinance.
Renée leads the Global EduQuality program, driving improvements in the conditions for learning in the affordable private school sector.
Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Renée was a project manager overseeing the Skills for a Changing World project at the Brookings Institution’s Center for Universal Education and managed BRAC USA’s education and adolescent development programs in Africa and Asia as a senior associate. Renée was also an English Language Teacher in Cameroon while serving with the United States Peace Corps.
Renée received her MA from Teachers College at Columbia University in International Educational Development, and a BA from Florida State University in Political Science and International Affairs.
