The Ambassadors Council advances the mission of Opportunity International by using their business skills, experience, and influence to bring about transformation for families living in poverty. Ambassadors are successful entrepreneurs, professionals, financiers, and corporate executives who serve as volunteer leaders to champion the mission of Opportunity.
How Ambassadors Serve
Brand Ambassadors
Brand Ambassadors promote external education and outreach by communicating through select podiums and media. They speak at regional events and represent Opportunity at association or affinity group gatherings in their area.
Advisory Ambassadors
Advisory Ambassadors leverage their professional expertise by providing advice and counsel to Opportunity leadership on specific issues or internal projects. They offer marketing and sales training, pro bono advice and consulting, and management and leadership best practices with other executives.
Rainmaker Ambassadors
Rainmaker Ambassadors connect their personal networks to Opportunity's mission. They share about Opportunity with their personal and professional networks, host education and outreach events, lead Insight Trips, create community among groups of donors, and make key introductions.
