Opportunity In Action

March Edition

March 28, 2017

Opportunity knows that giving opportunities to women and girls in poverty can give way to infinite possibilities. When girls stay in school, they live longer, healthier lives and drastically increase their future incomes. When women farmers have access to the right networks and technologies, they can earn more for their families and feed their communities. And when women are empowered with savings accounts and small loans, they can participate in the formal economy, opening a new world of possibilities that were previously unimaginable.

We know that together, we can end extreme poverty by 2030, and that empowering women will be key to making that happen. In our latest blog, you’ll learn just how large a ripple effect there can be when the world invests in women.
