Lydia Baldridge MeierSenior Vice President, Philanthropy Services
Lydia Baldridge Meier has been with Opportunity International since 2004 in a number of roles. She currently manages the team responsible for data, research, donor records, proposals, and reports. Lydia is also responsible for fundraising campaigns for the organization, having played a leadership role in six campaigns including the $126 million Banking on Africa Campaign and the recently-completed $100 million Waymaker Campaign. Her responsibilities bridge between program and donor relations. Lydia’s background is in international development.
A missionary kid born in Zambia, Lydia has lived abroad and traveled much of her life, including a position at the International Institute for Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Policy and French from Rice University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
