Greg RothSenior Vice President of Philanthropy

Greg Roth is the Senior Vice President of Philanthropy at Opportunity International, managing a national team of fundraisers committed to building relationships and raising support from private and individual donors. Under Greg’s leadership, the philanthropy team cultivates and initiates relationships with supporters around the country in support of Opportunity’s global work. Funding from these generous donors enables Opportunity to innovate and grow as we work to end extreme poverty in our lifetimes. 

Greg joined Opportunity as a fundraiser in 2007. Prior to Opportunity, Greg served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Byers’ Choice Ltd., the Pennsylvania-based maker of Carolers figurines. In this role, he led global sales, marketing, distribution, and partnership efforts.

He also spent ten years as Product Manager and National Accounts Manager at Fres-co System USA, an international specialty packaging company. At Fres-co Greg led sales and marketing and grew the company’s relationship with their largest customer.

Currently, Greg sits on the board of the Philadelphia Leadership Foundation, which links city-wide business leaders with the urban church.

He holds degrees in Finance and Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University, where he was captain of the Men’s Varsity Swimming Team.

He and his wife Meg have two daughters and a son, and they live in Doylestown, Bucks County, PA.
