Christelle KasendeSenior Technical Advisor, Commercial Banking, Agriculture Finance

Christelle Kasende is the Senior Technical Advisor for Commercial Banking in Africa at Opportunity International. She joined the AgFinance team in late 2023, where she leads efforts in the Democratic Republic of Congo and supports partnerships with Tier 1 financial institutions across the AgFin portfolio. 

With over a decade of experience in agricultural finance, impact investing, and financial inclusion, Christelle has worked across financial services, private equity, and the NGO sector. Prior to joining Opportunity International, she worked with the Financial Services Volunteer Corps on a U.S. State Department-funded program and previously led investment and ESG initiatives at XSML Capital.
