Annie WangHead of Global Health
Annie Wang is a public health expert with experience working in over 15 low- and middle-income countries, focusing on innovations in improving last-mile access to health care and essential medicines. Annie is passionate about developing resilient health systems through public-private partnerships and sustainable financing. In her current role, Annie oversees the integration of health programs through microfinance and inclusive finance partners in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Previously, Annie was a Senior Public Health Consultant covering Asia-Pacific at IQVIA, the global leader in health data science, advising clients on how to leverage data to drive evidence-based insights to address systematic challenges in health systems. She has also held roles as a Health Policy Advisor at the World Bank, Health Economist for the global infectious disease pharmaceutical portfolio at Roche Genentech, and as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman. Annie also spent 18 months in Sierra Leone at the wake of the Ebola epidemic working with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) to support the government in procuring and distributing medical supplies.
Annie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University, and a Master's in Public Health from Harvard University. In 2022, she received the Pro Bono Australia 2022 Impact 25 Award for her contributions to the social impact sector.
