Opportunity International is excited to invite candidates to apply for our upcoming Internship Program. As a mission driven organization, we welcome applicants who have a strong mission alignment and a passion to support our wide range of project needs.
The internship experiences will depend on the organization's needs but can range from projects focused on educational development, agricultural development, finance, philanthropy, human resources, capital solutions, etc. Interns selected will benefit from valuable experience working on projects that have an impact on communities across the world.
Overview of the Program
- All internships will be domestic opportunities and will not require international travel.
- Internships will be hybrid and require 1-2 days of travel to a local office.
- Interns will be part of a cohort and have exposure to leadership team members.
- Interns will complete a cumulative Capstone project to showcase their accomplishments at the organization.
- Interns will have ongoing development opportunities, including reoccurring meetings with supervisors.
Internship Opportunities are limited and highly competitive. Every year we receive more applications than we can offer places.

FAQ
When is the internship?
Internships will run over the summer period (June- August). Candidates are requested to make a minimum of 8 weeks to 12 weeks, ideally starting on Monday, June 3rd, 2024.
Who should apply?
While our Internship Program is open to any interested candidate who would like to apply, graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to candidates who can meet the travel requirements.
When can I apply?
