The CoLab Process
We’ve developed a streamlined innovation process that starts with the people closest to our clients: our staff. Idea Day brings together Opportunity staff from around the world to work together and generate hundreds of ideas for how to solve client needs. We then move through a 12-month cycle of ideation, prototyping, and client feedback to determine what we’ll bring to market.
Idea Day
Opportunity staff generate over 200 ideas in one day by utilizing personas, the latest AI advancements, and their firsthand expertise.
Top 20 Selected
DEVELOPMENT & ENGINEERING
The top 20 innovators are assigned mentors from companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Disney, and X, and receive resources from MIT to develop their ideas into early-stage prototypes.
Pitch Day
Innovators pitch their refined concepts to the CoLab team, who select the Top 6 to advance.
TESTING
Concepts move through refinement and are tested with clients. Feedback is incorporated, and prototypes are finalized.
Innovation Showcase
Innovators enter a live pitch environment with potential investors and sell their solutions. The Top 3 are selected in real time to move to the Pilot phase.
Pilot Launch
The Top 3 AI solutions launch for testing and scaling in select global markets.
