Knowledge Exchange Farmers Get Agricultural Information Through Artificial Intelligence (AI)

In 2025, Opportunity launched a chatbot/generative AI solution, Farmer AI, to give farmers and their advisors ready-access to reliable agricultural information, providing timely, accurate, and contextually appropriate answers to their agricultural questions. This KM Insight shares the four models for scale-up that Opportunity tested in Malawi, Uganda, Kenya, and Ghana—along with lessons learned and future plans.
