Read Our June Book Club Book: Factfulness by Hans Rosling
To kick off a summer of reading and learning, we are excited to announce our June Book Club book!
This month, we are reading one of Bill Gates's "5 books worth reading this summer"—a book Gates describes as "one of the best books I've ever read."
When Bill Gates makes a recommendation like that, we are sure to listen! So this month, join us as we read:
Factfulness by Hans Rosling, with Ola Rosling and Anna Rosling Ronnlund
Hans Rosling was a brilliant researcher and teacher who passed away last year. In this, his final book, he explores the truth about our world through data—truth that can often get hidden by sensationalism or assumptions. Rosling shows us the many ways in which the world is getting better, and reminds of the areas in which we still need to improve.
Through the same compelling, story-based presentation style that made Rosling’s TED Talks so famous, he carries us through the technical information that illustrates human truths. As a reader, you come away from the book educated, encouraged, and engaged.
We are so excited to join Bill Gates and thousands of others to read Factfulness this summer. Pick up a copy at your local library, at an independent bookstore, or on Amazon.com today. And be sure to sign up for the Book Club to receive emails about our upcoming books and discussions!
