Randy Kurtz leads the institutional businesses at Opportunity International, with a focus on international programs, resource development and impact investing with corporations, foundations and governments. Kurtz joined Opportunity in 2018 as a proven problem-solver and business executive with experience in the private and public sectors. His expertise includes strategic planning, corporate finance, operations, and change management.
Before dedicating his career to global economic development, Kurtz spent 27 years in investment banking, primarily with Salomon Brothers/Citigroup. He was a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 boards and CEOs, handling company-transforming M&A, activist shareholder situations, balance sheet management, and capital markets access. Kurtz led dozens of completed M&A transactions spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, ranging in size up to $10 billion.
Randy earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
