Lana RedaChief Philanthropy Officer
Lana Reda is a proven marketing and philanthropy leader who has held both corporate and nonprofit leadership roles. With extensive experience and a passion for recruiting donors, Reda is known for deepening donor commitment and creating engagement and loyalty.
Alongside other senior leadership, Reda develops and executes the private giving strategic plan with short- and long-range goals in all areas of private philanthropy development, marketing and communications in alignment with the organization's strategic plan and goals.
Before joining Opportunity International, Reda served as Vice President, International and Social Services, at Blue North Strategies, a leading non-profit marketing and consulting agency. Prior to her work at Blue North, Reda held senior roles at World Vision, including Vice President of Donor Relationship Management and Global Marketing Leader. She led World Vision’s doubling in revenues and revitalized their brand, digital channels, and donor experience. Reda also has extensive sales and marketing leadership experience at AT&T driving revenue and market share growth.

Reda graduated with a Master of Science in international business from the London Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington. She resides in Washington with her husband and adult children, where they are active in their church, and enjoy hiking, camping, and volunteering.
