The Body of Artists is a team of NYC based makeup artists on a mission to inspire other artists to share the joy of their craft while making a difference in the community. We do this by living our values: cooperation over competition, integrity, responsibility and TRUST.
Every $150 raised at the event empowers an entrepreneur to build a future free from poverty.
Reaching our $5,000 fundraising goal would empower 33 entrepreneurs - an entire Trust Group!
Opportunity International Trust Groups help entrepreneurs break free from the limitations of poverty by promoting solidarity and maintaining accountability. Trust Groups consist of mostly women, meeting once a week to share personal and business advice, receive financial training and vote on loan-related topics.
