As the leader of the global marketing team, Liz provides brand strategy leadership and compelling content that define our market-facing positioning across all platforms. She also leads the cause marketing program, working to build effective, targeted partnerships that boost the organization’s revenues and reach. Liz is an accomplished marketing leader with extensive experience providing brand and creative strategy to a wide range of consumer and non-profit brands. She has developed successful integrated campaigns across interactive, direct mail, events and traditional advertising.
Prior to joining Opportunity International, she served in leadership positions for top brands at both major and boutique agencies including Havas Worldwide, Translation and Young & Rubicam. At Havas, Liz grew agency business and led an online viral campaign sensation that landed in YouTube’s Top 20 Most Watched Ads of 2012, exceeding all previously measured scores by Brand Health Tracker. Liz also drove significant product growth by transforming the perception of the State Farm brand from being expensive, stale and out of touch to being one that was attractive to the highly coveted young adult target.
Liz has won Gold, Silver and BronzeAddy and Telly Awards. She is also fluent in Spanish. She received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in communication technology and international studies at Saint Louis University and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with her family.
